Nicoleta Teodorovici

In 2015, H.E. Nicoleta Teodorovici was appointed as the Consul General of Romania in Dubai. Since then, she has facilitated high-level working visits of Romanian Prime Ministers and government officials, as well as hosted high-level delegations from the UAE in Romania. Her daily routine includes providing full support to both government and private companies interested in investing in Romania, and she takes pleasure in assisting Romanian companies looking to expand their business in the UAE.

Dharmendra Mohnani

With a chain of over 100 supermarkets, New West Zone is one of the UAE's most successful and fastest growing chains in Dubai. Dharmendra Mohnani, the General Manager plays an important role in the strategical expansion of the company, and looks over procurement zones and retail operations.

Alex Popescu

With over 11 years in the F&B industry, Alex has an immersive understanding of the Middle East’s HORECA industry. His journey in the industry has been evolved by working with a diverse range of over 30 brands of high-end restaurants, hotels, and F&B consultancy firms.

Paul Gheorghiu

As the chairman of the Gulf-Romania Investment Council, Paul has undertaken the mission of developing, supporting and promoting the commercial and investment cooperation between the economic and business environments in Romania and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, by creating relational platforms that capitalize and enhance the economic, social and cultural environments.

Growth and trends within the organic and natural industry in the MENA region. In the past 4 years, there has been a 60% increase in shelf space in the MENA region. In 2022, the organic and natural F&B market is said to be worth $18.42 billion. Similarly, with natural and organic beauty, the per capita spend on beauty is more than 240$ in the region, a lot more than the global average and the market is currently valued at $5billion. With Dubai alone which is the world’s 3rd largest re-exporter having $546 billion worth of goods being sent out, Middle East is fast emerging as a global re-export hub.

The time is ripe for organic and natural, what will shape its future?
