Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre (DHTC) was founded in 2003 under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Meeting a broad spectrum of needs – from chronic medical conditions to alternative offerings that simply maintain good health, DHTC designs individual, holistic health journeys for its clients drawing from three complementary areas – Get & Stay Well, Feel Well Retreat and Eat Well.
What type of natural/organic, products/services do you sell in the Middle East?
We are offering a variety of high quality products, which are formulated with very high standard principles, such as – no unwanted substances, no excipient, no additives and sweeteners. Our products include a wide range of Nutritional supplements, Diet products, Vitamins, Chinese Medicines, Homeopathic medicines, Ayurveda medicines, herbal medicines, natural and organic skin care products.
Our products are targeted at different age groups, with different needs to treat acute and chronic cases.
In your opinion, how popular is the organic industry in the UAE and the Middle East?
The education and increased awareness about the advantages of Organic and natural products, has made the organic industry more popular. There has been an exponential rise in the number of retail outlets that are now offering exclusive organic and natural products. This is due to the increase of customers demand for these products.
Why, in your opinion, do people prefer buying organic nowadays?
The main reason are health benefits. Organic and natural products are safer, healthier and effective; since they do not contain harmful ingredients.
How do you determine the products to sell in this market?
We have a strict quality control guidelines, which allow us to select the safest and only the best products. Some basic criteria to choose our product range is: That is shouldn’t contain any unwanted substances, additives, sugar, sweeteners and hypo allergic. Also we always keep in consideration the customers’ needs to meet their demands.
